Three variables you have to master are knowledge, skills, and attitude because all of these variables influence you to succeed on the TOEFL test.1. Listening section
If you practice the listening test at home, you have to make setting as well as the real listening test is. For example, if you take the real test by hearing it once, you should do.
2. Reading section
Read by skimming all the passages. Then read the question before you come back to the passage it asks. Because of main ideas, synonyms, detailed explanations, and inferences it contains, you just connect the detailed information in text with the question. Remember! It is not important for you to know everything all the words in the text mean.
3. Speaking section
You have to figure the main idea out. Take the supporting sentences by using expressions you understand.
4. Writing section
You have to memorize the essay you use because it helps you to write simpler and faster. For example, you always write the thesis statement in the second sentence of the beginning essay or the end essay by using a summarizing approach. Don't forget! After finishing your essay, you must read and check it once.
