Listening Techniques in the TOEFL

Do any of you get a problem in the listening section? This is common. Truly, this section tests your ability to understand spoken English, so do not be scared!

Moreover, because in a short conversation, questions on the TOEFL test will be spoken just one time, you really have to listen carefully to understand what the speaker asks, and then choose which one is closest in meaning to the conversation, not word-by-word or phrase-by-phrase in the one.

Also, in second part of the test, you will hear some short talks and conversations. Then, both the talks and questions will be spoken just one time. This section is more difficult, so you have to figure the meaning out.
